Excellent services, very friendly and warm, they speak English too and whatever you want to visit in Peru, they will help you even if it's peak season. Communication was excellent all the time, always in contact with us via whatsapp to make sure everything goes smooth. I don't know how they do it, but we got our Machu Picchu trip one day before and all the other agencies said there was no place available. It's a family run business and they are all great people! I totally recommend them!

We booked the Machu Picchu by Train - 2 days, several months in advance. Inclusions were: transfer to the train station, train ticket to Aguas Calientes, accommodation, 1st bus of the day (5: 30AM) for sunrise at Machu Picchu, a 2.5 hour guided tour, 4 hours free time and a return train and transfer back to Cusco. Unfortunately this is not what we got.far from it actually.

The manager met us at our Cusco hotel the night before the tour, to give us our documentation and to collect the final balance. They quickly ran through our documents and itinerary and realised they had forgotten to bring our bus ticket. They advised that they would drop it off to reception the following morning before our transfer arrived.

The next morning the lady text us to say that she was in reception to pick us up. We were quite confused as we thought she was only coming to drop off our bus ticket. We left altogether in a taxi to an unknown location, where she transferred us to another private taxi. Our understanding was that we had booked a group tour, so we found this quite strange as nothing was explained to us.

The tour guide was to meet us at our Agues Calientes hotel at 7PM to run through our program for the following morning. By 7: 30PM, the guide still had not arrived. We contacted the tour company and he arrived shortly after, with no apology.

It was at this point, we realised that the travel agent had not given us our bus ticket. When we contacted her, she told us that she left it in reception like she said she was going to. We couldn’t understand why she didn’t just hand it to us, since she was waiting in reception to pick us up…very strange.

When the guide went through our documents, he realised that we didn’t have enough time at Machu Picchu. Our bus ticket was booked for 10AM (NOT 5: 30AM), tour for 11AM and return train ticket at 2.30PM. To ensure that we still were able to spend time at Machu Picchu, the guide contacted the travel agency to arrange a private 2-hour tour, so that we could make the 2: 30PM train. We were not happy but this was out only option as trains were booked out. In the end, the 2 hours we spent at Machu Picchu was not enough. We got rushed through and had no time to take it all in.

When we arrived back to Cusco, we contact the travel agency to express our dissatisfaction and requested a partial refund. Even though they admitted fault, they still declined any refunds. Their excuse was that the services had already been processed and therefore there were no refunds to give.

The issue was that they purchased our train ticket with our deposit 2 months prior and didn’t book our bus ticket and Machu Picchu ticket until the day before when we paid our final balance. Tickets for sunrise entrance had clearly sold out and the first available ticket was for 10AM.

Funnily enough, I am a Travel Agent and after this experience I would never recommend this company to any of my clients. We booked 6.5 hours at Machu Picchu and only got 2! With no sunrise! Having travelled all the way from Australia for Machu Picchu, you can imagine our disappointment. I’ve never felt so cheated and ripped off by a tour company before.

My recommendation would be to book everything yourself! Don’t do a tour. ESPECIALLY with Viajes Cusco Peru!

My tour experience with Viajes Peru was pretty pleasant. The staff was organized and punctual. They took take care of the four days we were in Cuzco.
At the beginning I was hesitant to make a reservation with them since we were a group of 10 people and didn’t know how they work.
I couldn’t ask for more after receiving the service. All my family enjoyed the trip and service provided.

Good service, great staff that explain your trip in detail with clear instructions.regardless of where you book if it says the tour starts or will pick u up at 8 expect them to be there at 8: 30 to 8: 40 always late lol. But overall a fair service but there are cheaper places I found to get the same tours. If you have a Peruvian friend I recommend going with them and you might not have to pay tourist prices which are like 10 times more.
