Sun Gate opiniones
100% recomendado!
The sun wasn't shinning the morning we went. But it was still very cool to be there and watch the clouds roll by.
What a great feeling to come around that corner and see Machu Picchu. Absolutely stunning.
We got there first light and were greeted with Cloud cover, we waited till 7: 30 and still cloud cover, so we carried on down to the ancient city, we saw people who carried on waiting and they told us, we only need to wait another 30mins and we'd have seen it, hence the 2 stars, (cant give 5 stars for something i didnt see) so if your doing the trail, unless your on a time schedule, as we were, be patient, and the rewards are worth it.
I am sure it's a great view but we got there just after 6am and it was very misty. The race to the sun gate was a great laugh but a bit crazy.
Lugar recomendado.
The moment to finally climb over the top after 4 days trekking is the most rewarding and powerful thing I've ever felt. So beautiful and the trek was totally worth every ache and pain it took to get there
The last stop on the Inca trail b4 reaching Machu Picchu after 4 day 3 nights hike. Wonderful place to see the ancient ruins from the top.
All cloudy and even started to rain. I hope others will be more lucky. Should have a wonderfull view on Machu Picchu.
El Intipunku es un logro, el casi terminamos de una larga caminata de muchas subidas y bajadas, como también altos escalones. Desde aqui se logra apreciar la ciudad del Maschu Pischu y las bellas vistas de las montañas.
One of the most thrilling views on all of the Inca Trail. It's your first sign that you've "made it! " You breathe a sigh of relief and relax a moment. It's such a moment. Highly recommend approaching Machu Picchu this way!
Realmente es hacer un gran esfuerzo en el último tramo pero vale la pena la vista al llegar arriba.
After reaching Sun Gate it's your final stretch to Machu Picchu. It's a breeze from there.
Great view on Machu Picchu and the surrounding mountains and valleys from the distance. The only way to get there is, if you do the 4 Day or 2 Day Inca Trail Trek
This is the entrance to the Machu Picchu archeological site if you do the Inca Trail. After hiking for a few days, you'll finally see the stone walls that conform the Sun Gate as the higher part of the Machu Picchu site. You be able to rest a bit, take some photos of the site and the Waynapicchu mountain, that will look overwhelming if you included it as part of your activities that day. From there, if you got a clear day, the photos of the entire site are awesome, altought not as awesome as from the top of the Waynapicchu peak in my opinion. Then you'll descend more stone stairs to arrive to the upper part of the site, but you won't be able to start exploring it as you have to go down all the way to check in through the entrance.
Nice view of Machu Picchu but you are pretty far away. The best place for pictures is much closer (in my opinion)
The fog clears and you get to see Machu Picchu in it's full glory! The one of culminating moments while on the Inca trail trek. Magical!
Incredible place, from this point you will have privileged views of Machu Picchu, known as the Puerta del Sol, practically it is the main entrance to the Inca city.
