We booked a tour of Rainbow Mountain + Red Valley. Everything was OK - breakfast and lunch included, not too rushed tour with English speaking guide, careful driver. Recommended. Paid S/. 115 (booked for two, negotatied a bit).

LOOK NO FURTHER. If you want to see Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley book with this agency! If you’re anything like me, you’ve searched the internet for weeks trying to figure out a good and reliable tour agency in Cusco. DOES IT EXIST? Yes! And if you’re feeling overwhelmed and run down by all the different options and mediocre reviews, you’re at the same spot I was before I went with my gut and chose Peru Majestic Travel. Now, I can’t speak for other tours this agency does but I can promise you that you won’t regret booking them for a day trip to Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley. Like most agencies this trip requires you to leave around 4: 30AM which initially made no sense to me but upon arriving to the mountain and being one of the first people on top and watching the crowds flood in as we were walking down, it all made sense. Yes, as I’m sure you’ve read this is a very challenging trek and is not for everyone but if you take it slow and steady you can do it! Peru Majestic strongly recommends spending at least a day or two in Cusco before going. They also give you some tips on items to bring and things to do before hand to help prepare you. You can read more ways to prepare online as well. Now back to the Peru Majestic. YOU WONT BE LET DOWN. Everything from pick up, our guide, the entire experience, breakfast and lunch was FANTASTIC. I personally booked with Jerver, however he is not one of the guides that actually goes up. $35 covers the entire day including transportation, meals and entrance fees. I was VERY impressed with this company and the tour they provided for the day. They do this day trip pretty much every day so you will be able to book in person the day before. Note: Definitely pick a day that you know the sun will be out- this enhances the colors! Wish I could give Peru Majestic more stars they deserve it
