OKIDOKI TRAVEL PERU

Had an amazing Salkantay trek with Oki Doki. 4 days 3 nights of beautiful scenery, sites and food. Guido our guide was like family, very genuine, knowable and passionate about Peru, it's history and the outdoors. Machu Picchu was mind blowing. The train ride home was a bit expensive for me but you can also get back to Cusco by bus.

Friendly and cheap. This is definitely a budget tour company, so just remember that if you book with them. But they’re super friendly and our whole group had a great time

We did the Salkantay Trek with OkiDoki Travel and would absolutely reccommend this Travel Agency! Everything was perfectly organized, the guide Will spoke very good english and explained a lot about flora and fauna. The cook prepared very good meals. Besides that, 5 kg of luggage were carried by a mule in a duffle bag (which is a huge relief!). Would definitely do it again with Okidoki!:)

Super équipe! Concernant le Salkantay Trek, l'expérience OkiDoki a été génial du début à la fin.

Petit groupe d'aventuriers (nous étions 6), Personnel au petit soin (cuisinier, porteur, guide), Équipements de qualité (sac à dos, tente, sticks.), Et expérience extraordinaire en ayant bien mérité son MP.
Je recommande cette agence de voyage qui mise avant tout sur la qualité du service proposé mais dont les prix sont compétitifs au passage.

Okidoki is a great travel agency. The service is extremely professional and the Salkantay trek we did with them was fantastic. Guillermo has been a great guide and the organisation is very good. I would totally recommend considering they are also very competitive price wise.

Great organisation, Guilhermo was a great guide and explained us so much about the history of incas. Really recommended okidoki for price quality reasons.

We (23 & 25y old) did the 4day Salkantay Trek with OkidokiTours. We booked the tour in advance and even compared to the local prices in Cusco, prices were very fair.
The day before the start, there was a nice explanation of the following tour, we got duffle bags for our stuff for the horses and just had to carry our daybags. Every piece of equipment (sleeping bag/pad) was included and high quality.
The hike was accompanied by 2 really nice and especially funny guides. The group was also just from OkidokiTours and not mixed, we had a lot of luck and met great people
The walking part I think is the same for all tours but very beautiful, the guides really looked after the group, it was no problem how fast you were going, they offered nice and funny explanations throughout the days.
Food was fantastic and plenty!
Everyday would start with a wake up service with hot tea, which really helped getting out of the warm sleeping bags
In Aquas Calientes we slept in a nice hostel with hot showers
For the next day everything was prepared for Machu Picchu, you just have to get up the 1700 steps very early.
Return was either by bus or train, we decided for the cheaper bus version, which was longer but no problem.

Nous revenons du trek du salkantay avec oki doki. Des moments inoubliables, une super organisation, un guide très sympa avec l'envie de partager sa culture, un cuisinier qui fait de super plats et un muletier au top. On a même pas eu froid! Je recommande les yeux fermés!

Excellente agence! Responsable amical et arrangeant, organisation au top. Pour le Salkantay les guides et les cuistots étaient parfaits! (5 sur 12 étions vegetarien s et on a eu les deux menus a chaque fois), et nous avons toujours pu voyager en dehors des heures d'affluence grâce a l expérience des guides qui ont toujours des savoirs a partager. Nous étions presque que des français, en même temps c'est courant en trek au Pérou, et les guides commencent à nous connaître dans le bon sens du terme ^^. Je recommande à 200%!

Very good travel agency. The manager Alvaro is very helpful, responsable and trustworthy. For him the most important thing is that everybody feels comfortable and has a great experience. He takes time to explain everything in detail and gives different options to individually choose from.
The Rainbow Mountains Tour included really nice breakfast and abundant lunch buffet.
For Salkantay he provided sleeping bags, extra warm inlets and matresses. There was a briefing the day before departure, where we met our guide and got detailed information about every single day of the trip. Due to sickness we couldn't join, but Alvaro organized everything that we could do Machu Picchu the 4th day.
Alvaro is always available via whats app!

Incredible experience! We were recommended Oki Doki from a friend who had done the Salkantay Trek with them and had only good things to say, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to hike to Macau Picchu. Alvaro is professional and responds quickly. All of the equipment is provided and is in great shape. The camps that we slept at were awesome, they even have a brand new private site for the first night with sweet little huts to sleep in. The food was incredible too, props to all the chefs that come along on the trip. They really make it so you don’t have to worry about anything after you book, and it’s at a great price compared to alternate options. And if you happen to get Paulo for your guide, you are in the best hands possible! Insane what that guy can do and how much he cares about the members of the group and making them have a great experience. If I find myself back in Peru looking to trek to Machu Picchu again, I’ll definitely go through Oki Doki.

Par où commencer. Dès l'entrée dans l'agence on se sent comme en famille, les propriétaires étant vraiment aux petits soins avec vous. Au départ, je voulais faire le tour de deux jours en bus mais le propriétaire m'a convaincu de faire le salkantay trek et je ne regrette absolument pas cette décision. Vous traverserez des paysages époustouflants et super variés pendant 4 jours en finissant par la perle le macchu picchu.

Pour ce qui est du trek en lui même, nous étions seulement 11 accompagnés de 2 guides. De plus tout le matériel, sac de couchage de super qualité, matelas, sacs de voyage etc.est fourni ce qui n'est pas le cas de toutes les agences.

La nourriture à chaque repas fut une réelle bonne surprise. Je suis végétarienne et à chaque fois j'avais un plat à part rien que pour moi. Raphaël et Gary nous ont concocté des délices de tous les pays, Pérou bien sur mais aussi Italie et Mexique. Faites attention vous risquez bien de grossir.

Les guides Guillermo et Ricardo ont vraiment participé à rendre cette expérience extraordinaire. Super gentils, hyper attentionnés, toujours prêts à rigoler et à discuter et informés sur absolument tout, faune, flore, histoire inca, du macchu picchu et j'en passe. Pour l'exemple, étant fumeuse quotidienne j'étais toujours à l'arrière du groupe. Ricardo ou Guillermo étaient toujours là à m'attendre en m'encourageant sans jamais me mettre la pression et en me laissant aller à mon rythme.

Enfin, c'est comme si l'agence attirait les gens sympas car il y avait vraiment une super ambiance sur ce trek. Tout le monde était adorable, drôle et super intéressant ce qui rajoute vraiment à l'expérience.
