Hotel Vista Machu Picchu opiniones
NO RECOMIENDO.
Great view, close to all locations
The food! It's the same menu in The morning, needs a new menu with eggs or soon
Very friendly staff, very peaceful
Would like to thank the hotel for great hospitality in helping me with wifi and helping me get warm while I stayed there especially with the low rates that they must have received from the tour companies.
First, when people say it's near the train, please understand: it's not "near some train tracks", it's directly above the station. Over half the time between 5: 30am and 9: 30pm, there will be a train idling in the station, I would estimate 60dB in the room with the balcony door closed. Awful.
Speaking of the balcony: don't be wooed by the view, which is admittedly better than 99.9% of the world's hotels: literally everywhere in town has similar views. If you are staying in a hotel in Machu Picchu Pueblo with a window, you will have an incredible view.
No hot water. The water gets *almost* to the point where you're no longer shivering under the shower, but not quite. Apparently that's an ongoing problem with them, going by other reviews. I'm not even sure whether you need to worry about legionnaire's disease here - maybe the hot water tank is actually too cold for it to thrive?
Front desk staffed inconsistently enough that we couldn't leave our bags with them on the last day, for fear we would miss our train waiting for them to come back. We decided that because we earlier ran into another guest in the lobby having that exact problem.
Easily the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
The fact that this has even an ok rating is appalling to me. This is the worst NEVER COME. Awful customer service. It’s been 2 days sense I was supposed to stay here and I still can’t get in contact with anyone nor have I even been inside.
Con habitaciones bien limpias i confortables.
Very dirty! Does not work wifi! Old room and not clean! Employees are not friendly! Pictures in the site are not corresponded the physical! Not recommended!
Where to start? Someone from the hotel was supposed to pick us up and never came, once we got there he had the worst attitude and never apologized. There were no window frames in the room, so the windows don't seal. Therefore the room is cold and noisy. The hotel is next to the train station so it's like you're sleeping next to the train. Avoid this place!
Nice hotel exept fornthe fact that all windows face the train station, which means you will have a lot of noise every time a train passes. Breakfast is poor.
I stayed overnight at Vista Machu Picchu. The hotel is very clean, staff is very helpful, the lady at the desk is also a tour guide, so she gave us advice for our visit to Machu Picchu.
The hotel is located few blocks from the meeting place for the tours, and it's very safe to walk around.
