Hotel Machupicchu Adventure House

No tienen agua caliente, estuve en un cuarto que parecía ser de otra categoría además el baño estaba estrecho era muy incómodo.
Las sábanas tenían unas alfombras que estaban llenas de polvo.

Room is clean and beautifully renovated but no A/C or heat. This was not a problem for me as I visited in March when the temperature outside was very pleasant.

The hotel staff do not speak much/any English but they are very accommodating and eager to provide assistance. Hotel is located at the far end of town but Aguas Calientes is very small so everything is centrally located. I was not bothered by the close proximity to the train station since trains do not run during the night when guests are asleep.

I felt very comfortable leaving valuables in the room despite the absence of a lock box. They even allowed me to leave my luggage in the room for pickup after my hike to Machu Picchu. There were a limited number of staff and all were extremely trustworthy.

Cons: Only enough hot water for ~12 a shower and it took a long time to heat up. Seriously deficient. Elevator was out of service OR turned off to save electricity. Unable to connect to wifi in the room though it worked well in the lobby.

Las instalaciones son mejores que la mayoría de los hoteles en Cusco. La habitación es espaciosa y el baño ha sido reformado y está limpio. El agua no drena ni un poco. Es un poco ruidoso porque está justo enfrente del ferrocarril, pero está bien porque no hay trenes. La ubicación en la esquina es a la vez una ventaja y un inconveniente.

La habitación está limpia y bellamente renovada, pero no tiene aire acondicionado ni calefacción. Esto no fue un problema para mí ya que lo visité en marzo cuando la temperatura exterior era muy agradable.

El personal del hotel no habla mucho ni nada de inglés, pero es muy servicial y dispuesto a brindar asistencia. El hotel está ubicado en el otro extremo de la ciudad, pero Aguas Calientes es muy pequeño, por lo que todo está ubicado en el centro. No me molestó la proximidad a la estación de tren, ya que los trenes no circulan durante la noche cuando los huéspedes duermen.

Me sentí muy cómodo dejando objetos de valor en la habitación a pesar de la ausencia de una caja de seguridad. Incluso me permitieron dejar mi equipaje en la habitación para que lo recogieran después de mi caminata a Machu Picchu. Había un número limitado de personal y todos eran extremadamente dignos de confianza.

Desventajas: Solo hay suficiente agua caliente para ~12 ducha y tardó mucho en calentarse. Seriamente deficiente. El ascensor estaba fuera de servicio O apagado para ahorrar electricidad. No se pudo conectar al wifi en la habitación, aunque funcionó bien en el vestíbulo.

Presumably pretty average hotel for the area.
The first room we were given had no hot water. The second room we were given was fine.
Relatively clean and service was fine. Very noisy at night due to its location near the train tracks. Overall decent for its price.

Don't expect 5 star service, but the staff is friendly.don't expect hot water right away, it takes time.not all of us even took a hot shower.but the location is great, it's close to the train station.the rooms are big and breakfast is decent.

No esperes un servicio de 5 estrellas, pero el personal es amable.no espere agua caliente de inmediato, se necesita tiempo.no todos tomamos una ducha caliente.pero la ubicación es genial, está cerca de la estación de tren.las habitaciones son grandes y el desayuno es decente.

Nunca me había pasado desde hace más de 20 años que llevo viajando a diferentes países. Al salir para mi tour a Machu Picchu y dejar la maleta para mi sorpresa me habían robado una blusa termal. Jamás pensé que me podría ocurrir algo así. Y no es por el valor de la prenda, es por el mal rato y la falta de valores. No se lo deseo a nadie.

Buenos precios, desayuno a elección. Tiene ascensor y habitaciones amplias y buena limpieza. El día concluye a las 9: 00 am

Presumiblemente un hotel bastante normalito para la zona.
La primera habitación que nos dieron no tenía agua caliente. La segunda habitación que nos dieron estaba bien.
Relativamente limpio y el servicio estaba bien. Muy ruidoso por la noche debido a su ubicación cerca de las vías del tren. En general decente por su precio.

El personal muy amable, me fueron a recoger a la estación del tren. Cuando llegamos la habitación súper limpia con todas las comodidades que necesitábamos para una noche, agua caliente, y no se escucha el tren para poder descansar, al día sgte nos prepararon el desayuno solo para 2 a las 6am. Me encantó!

Make sure you bring some earplugs if you come to this hotel, otherwise you're guaranteed to get no sleep. The hotel is located next to the train line which has trains passing through past 10pm. Given its location, you'd think that the hotel would invest in thicker windows; the windows on my shed are thicker than the single-glaze slide panels on this hotel. In terms of sound, it doesn't actually make a difference whether you open the window or not. There are train sounds and construction noises to be heard all night, so brace yourself for a bumpy seat on their seriously squeaky bed.

Water took about ten minutes to get hot, then couldn't hold the temperature. Water pressure was poor as well. The wifi did not work in the rooms. The only wifi that worked was the access point in the lobby. TV did not work. Bed was squeeky. Lots of construction noises outside. Staff was very nice though and accommodating.

ESTAFADORES.
Un dia antes de ir alli, nos dicen que hemos de pagar el triple por la habitacion o sino irnos a otro hotel. Teniendo ya la reserva hecha desde hacia dos meses.
Nos solicitaban cancelar la reserva. Evidentemente no queriamos camcelarla y queriamos dormir alli por el.precio que habiamos acordado a traves de booking.

Habitación grande, ducha caliente y preparan el desayuno si lo necesitas para antes de las 5. Muy bien ubicado, enfrente de la estación de tren.

La habitación amplia y cómoda, el personal muy amable y servicial, lo malo es que cobran el 5% si pagas con tarjeta.

Avoid at all costs.

No water, no internet (and they lie!). We arrived after a long days hike and they checked us in. They didn't tell us there was no water. When we asked, they said 'oh it will be fixed in 10mins' 2 hours later.still nothing!

Then there was the internet: it didn't work on our room. When we said something about it, they said 'oh that will be fixed too'. Then when I confronted them about that, they admitted that the internet doesn't actually reach our room. So they begrudgingly gave us another room.

Oh, but in the new room, they left us a present! Urine all over the toilet seat! Disgusting!

I left my mobile in the room for dinner. When I came back, my mobile was gone! Although the hotel staff looked very sympathetic and checked the camera, it didn't help. Because the cameras only check the front of the elevators.

Llegamos al hotel y, tras pedirnos nuestra documentación y cobrarnos la noche, nos llevaron a un hotel diferente del que habíamos reservado que, para colmo, era de una categoría inferior. Al darnos cuenta, fuimos a reclamar y no nos dieron solución; su respuesta fue más bien lo opuesto a profesionalidad y nos sentimos completamente estafados.

Estuvimos sólo una noche. El personal muy atento y amable. La habitación sin lujos pero cómoda, genial para cuando se vuelve de una larga excursión y se desea una ducha caliente.
