Hostal Chaska Wasi

El alojamiento fue perfecto y económico, el propietario extremadamente amable, disponible y dispuesto a ayudarnos. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente pasar una noche (o más) en Ollantaytambo!:)

El hotel está bastante limpio y bien situado, lejos del patio de armas. El propietario fácilmente da consejos sobre qué hacer en los alrededores.
Lamentablemente tenemos malos recuerdos de nuestra estancia allí. En 4 días no tuvimos duchas con agua caliente. El propietario nos dio diferentes excusas cada día y el resto de huéspedes también. Hubiéramos preferido que nos dijera la verdad directamente en lugar de buscar excusas todos los días. Tampoco tuvimos agua durante más de 24 horas.
Por esto no se nos hizo ninguna reducción. Por otro lado, el propietario intentó cobrarnos más de lo acordado. Inicialmente nos culpó por no pagar el primer día, aunque se negó cuando le pedimos que pagara. Luego dijo que la tarifa "terreno" había aumentado y que por eso era más cara.
En resumen, no nos sentimos cómodos.

Bonita propiedad y ubicación en Ollantaytambo. La propietaria, Katy, es un alma amable y hace todo lo posible para que sus huéspedes se sientan cómodos.

El albergue es acogedor y tranquilo, los animales en el área común también son tranquilos y tranquilos. El dueño es encantador y servicial. La ducha estaba caliente, pero solo a una hora específica del día. El desayuno era básico. En general, buena relación calidad-precio:).

Buenísimo hotel. Limpio y muy bien ambientado. En la azotea tiene un lugar super lindo con la mejor vista del pueblo.

Cuando vuelva a Ollantaytambo, vuelvo a este hotel.

Exelente. Una ubicación privilegiada. Una vista de ensueño de montañas y nevados. En la azotea hicieron un espacio de privilegio.
El hotel está primorosamente ambientado y atendido.
Puede haber algún problema con el agua caliente.

Qué increíble ciudad y lugar para quedarse. La propietaria, Katy, realmente hizo que mi estadía fuera agradable, ya que discutió conmigo la cultura de esta región y me dio excelentes recomendaciones sobre lugares a donde ir. La ducha se calentó y, por supuesto, la mejor parte fueron las mascotas. No interrumpieron mi sueño de ninguna manera y fueron realmente relajantes tenerlos cerca.

Además, la ubicación está cerca del centro y cerca de un mercado local.

Great hostel to stay at! Such friendly service, I have never had better service at a hostel. Town is small so location is not important, and we liked the view we had from our room.

Absolutely loved staying here. It is simple and quiet. The service was incredible and it is a good price for what you receive. Excellently located. I did not want to leave!

Estuve hace 15 días bajando de Machu pichu y la estancia fue muy relajante. La anfitriona muy atenta y todo estaba muy limpio. Su perrita era un amor y la gatita también muy simpática. Necesité un billete de avión y ella misma me lo pagó ya que mi tarjeta no funcionaba. Después se lo reembolsé en efectivo obviamente. Al marchar nos orientó destino, opciones, traslados. Un buen lugar para detenerse a descansar.

Este hostel está muy bien ubicado dentro de Ollantaytambo y muy bien atendido por Cati, siempre atenta a todo y con las mejores recomendaciones para recorrer y conocer la zona. Habitación compartida de 4 camas con baño dentro y desayuno, por 30 soles (julio 2022) Buen wifi. No se puede utilizar la cocina.

21 días de vacaciones en boliviano peru y chile, muchos hoteles, pero sólo uno puede ser el mejor! Este era! Caty la anfitriona nos resolvió absolutamente todo lo que necesitábamos y más! Muchas gracias!

I stayed for 6 nights in Chaska Wasi and I had an incredible experience! Katty is a wonderful and caring host, she made sure I was confortable as well as having everything I needed. Ollantaytambo is also a perfect starting point to many free hikes/ruins to discover. Thank you again Katty!

A very nice and cozy hostal close to the main square of Ollantaytambo. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. I definitely love the design and all the small details. The views are also breathtaking as the hostal is situated in the Sacred Valley. The owner is the most helpful, warm, friendly and welcoming person you can imagine. When my partner got sick she went to the doctor with us, cooked a delicious chicken soup and help him get back on his feet. 100000% recommended! If you are looking for a cozy place with beautiful rooms and a host that will not hesitate to share her knowledge, experience and advice about just everything - that’s where you should come.

Ollantaytambo is a quiet but stunning town - you will find everything you need here - cobbled narrow streets, Inca ruins, good restaurants and unlimited amount of hiking trails. If you are around don’t forget to go to Inti Punku, Pumamarca or salineras de Maras. And of course in the town itself there are Ollantaytambo ruins (you can access them if you buy boleto turístico for Ollantaytambo, Pisac and Moray).

I was there in September and again in October, and both visits were deeply satisfying. The rooms are clean, spacious, and full of light. The views to the west and south are fantastic, the surrounding mountains seem to cup you in their hands. There is a fine view of the main ruins, and an array of interesting Inka walls right across the street. Katty is a sincere, dedicated, professional, and personally affectionate host. So is her gentle and happy dog Wayni (sp?), and the cat she rescued and bottle-fed from birth (I heard her tell that story). Further, when my motorcycle was impounded by the local police, she didn't hesitate to volunteer to translate for me, since my Spanish is less than first rate. Very helpful.

Cozy, nice hospitality, very close to the plaza, nice view. If u want to experience the native Inka community u can always ask Katy the manager how to get there and meet amazing and lovely village people of Huilloc.

Clean, spacious and most gracious, helpful hostess EVER. We had a fantastic time staying with Katy. The hostel is close to the main plaza and a ten mins walk to the train station to get to Machu Picchu.

Tiene una vista maravillosa, el lugar delicioso para descansar después de subir a la montaña de Machu Picchu, tiene una recámara construida de piedra para tener la experiencia completa!

Hermosa Casa a la entrada de Ollantaytambo. Las instalaciones están muy bien y tiene una hermosa vista.
