A very special place to experience a sacred ceremony with a lot of special people to guide you along your journey.

Did my homework and compared all retreat options available in Peru and my final analysis pointed my way to Arkana, but little did I know all my expectations will be exceeded by my experience here.

- Great love and care by the facilitators and staff (they sweat the big and little details)
- Meticulously designed program (all activities are intentional and are aimed towards fostering your breakthrough)
- Deep knowledge and wisdom by the shamans (we felt protected, guided and profoundly blessed)

Truly one of the best decisions in my life to get my first Ayahuasca experience with Arkana.

It’s been six months since I wrapped up my experience at Arkana Sacred Valley! If you’re evaluating a retreat, let me give you my objective review: One of the most meaningful experiences in my life; caring and personable facilitators & shamans, who take deep care and empathy in your experience; comfortable facilities (with the occasional power failure) that is balanced with nature; and nourishing, delicious meals that you look forward to everyday.

Here are the most powerful things I experienced:

1) Deep human connection - with my fellow participants. On a level that is above many of my friendships, we really get to know eachother.
2) Powerful medicines - that helped bridge us with our individual objectives.
3) Meaningful reflection - to really get deep with our “whys” and to be able to share our learnings with others.

Do NOT go just for fun or recreation. Go with a purpose and be judgement-free. Arkana is a powerful place and I hope to visit again (maybe the Amazon?), when the time is right.

Much love to all the shamans, staff and to anyone reading this <3

Best experience of my life. Everyone their is amazing. Everyone! If you want to find true joy and fall in love with a group of strangers that will become life long friends then I highly recommend you to go if you feel the calling. Arkana saved my life. The most amazing people, each struggling with their own pain, come together every week and leave completely changed - reborn, in my case. I spent two weeks at the Sacred Valley location, and it was literally the most important experience of my life. I arrived consumed by darkness and left full of light, love and hope. The medicine and the maestros are unbelievably powerful and transformative. The facilitators are light workers. You'll heal your soul while making lifelong friends. The SV location is so peaceful and free of distractions, and the land itself will help you heal. Whether you're suffering from depression, anxiety, fear, confusion, exhaustion, or any other negative emotions, Arkana can be your salvation. I'm not prone to hyperbole, and I mean every word I've written here. Just go.

Arkana Sacred Valley is an amazing center full of loving people from the organizers to the staff to the facilitators to the shamans. They are all there for YOU and your healing process. Everything they do is well thought out and comprehensive. I felt safe and well taken care of throughout my visit. I cannot express enough how much love I received at this center. The food was delicious with great variety. The staff kept everything clean and well organized. Fruit and tea were available 24 hours at the bar in the courtyard. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms very comfy. We found a hot water bottle in our beds after each ceremony which was a nice comforting touch, and I had the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had during the bonfire on Wednesday. The organizers stay in touch with you before, during, and after the retreat with all the information you need. Thank you, Liliana, Jose & Israel. The shamans are loving and experienced and I felt that I was in the hands of good people. Thank you, Maestros Armando, Samuel and Alcides. The facilitators were loving, patient, kind souls with great talent. I cannot thank you enough, Manuel, Isa, Theo, Canelo & Tunde. Lastly, the group I shared my retreat with were beautiful people that I will love for eternity. I went to Arkana seeking a ‘New Me’. I left with exactly what I wished for. Thank you, Arkana family!

Im here rn. I came to get my heart and head right. Its so much more than that. Arkana cares and every individual that works here cares about you on a human level. Its not just a job and you can feel it. So much fear and emptiness has been replaced with peace and lightness. I am greatful and humble to experience how i feel. Watch a couple of youtube or gaia videos on sound therapy before coming. The Icaros and musicians are as powerful as the medicine and Maestros. Much love-Tanya

I came to Arkana after first feeling the call for plant medicine and healing 5 years ago. I could t have imagined a more perfect place or a more perfect group of people for this. The retreat is beautiful, even stunning. The food is delicious, fresh and clean. The staff are the kindest, most patient people you can imagine. They are attentive, warm and available at all times. You couldn’t be in better hands. And the shaman and Maestro are purely magical. They work in ways I can’t even understand but the work is important. The ceremonies are beautiful, powerful, life changing and safe.

I wouldn’t recommend ayahausca to anyone that wasn’t called to it but if that applies to you, I can recommend Arkana Sacred Valley with assurance.

My eternal gratitude to everyone there, including my fellow guests for being part of this journey for me. I’m a happier and better human today for it all.

I highly recommend a trip to the sacred valley to anyone looking for a life changing, meaningful experience. I will never be the same after visiting. The staff are so caring and kind and the grounds are magical. The work was difficult but oh so worth it.

What a wonderful place!
I came back a couple of weeks ago and I am still cannot stop getting back to my thoughts about Arkana.
First of all, it was a transformative experience spiritually, mentally, psychologically, every cell of my body was involved and evolved in the span of three aya ceremonies, a sapo, and a San Pedro ceremony. I have never been this close to understanding myself and the world around me. I found answers to the deepest questions a human mind can struggle with and met a group of wonderful people I respect incredibly and hope to continue being in touch with. Prior to my visit, I was incredibly suspicious about people I was about to spend a week with. Fake enlightenment and motivational quotes came to mind. How wrong I was and how embarrassed I am to admit my critical judgement before I even met my group mates! They are absolutely amazing: witty, caring, smart, kind, and just fantastic human beings. We shared a lot during the ceremonies and it only brought us closer.

A separate word about the facilitators: they are incredible. These guys genuinely care about you, your experience, your psyche, your health and your journey. I am so grateful for their help during the ceremonies, for holding my hand through the process and walking with me through what I was initially scared of. My fears, my insecurities, my doubts dissolved completely in the calmness the facilitators projected and could translate to us. I, too, became much calmer and my colleagues keep commenting now about how tranquil I am lately. Not that I ever have been hyped, this is just a very different kind of tranquility, a tranquility of the soul. And I would like to thank the guys at the retreat for helping me gain that inner calmness and peace of mind.

The shamans. They are absolutely fantastic in all meanings of this world. Believe me, you do not want a ceremony without someone that experienced caring for you. It becomes very evident very quickly. Plus, the icaros, the songs they sing, supplemented by the wonderful voices of facilitators, are just a great part of the ceremony, pleasure to listen to. The shamans are very experienced, caring and helpful. They speak to you prior to the ceremony and they truly listen. Their guidance has been invaluable.

The food. Incredible! I am not a vegan, the dieta was difficult for me to handle and the chef proved that I can totally live on dieta for my whole life, as ling as I am fed food of that quality. There was also chicken and fish, eggs options. They are all dieta-friendly. I kept bugging them about publishing a recipe book. Arkana guys, if you are reading: our group was wondering if we could get the recipes from your chef, we want to continue clean eating without having to chew through what we usually know as healthy boring food.

The facility. Very clean, all basic necessities, green and a lot of flowers. Hammocks, suntanning. The river view is great. Very calming.

The activities. Yoga and art therapy, breathing and sound healing were greatly appreciated.

The trips. We went to Maras and Machu Picchu. Both were great. Bring a mosquito spray to Machu Picchu!

Overall: an amazing experience. For the spirit and so much more. One of the best trips of my live and I was fortunate to travel a lot.

It was my first aya experience and I was very insecure before. Arkana left no doubt it‘s the perfect place to start and continue my journey: Don’t know where to start how great it was: Mind and Heart opening, safe, perfectly organized, the most beautiful location, beyond skilled and trustworthy shamans, great and experienced facilitators, most delicious food, live music in ceremony from another planet, and most importantly: Genuine Love and Positivity everywhere.

Only friendly hint to management: I saw online you offer a 3 months „volunteer program“ for facilitators. It would be great if facilitators are paid from day 1, as they all - experienced and new - made the week to what it was. I saw significant transformations for almost all participants around me, without the facilitators that would not have been possible! Quick Answer would be appreciated:)

I spent 1 week in the Amazon and 1 week in the sacred valley and it was the most transformative and healing 2 weeks of my life. The facilitators truly care about you and it is evident that they are constantly trying to improve the experience wherever they can.

I just finished a two-week retreat with Arkana Spiritual Centre. I started in the Amazon and then made my way to the Sacred Valley for my final week. My experience with Arkana was nothing short of a miracle. I came with lots of fear, pain and mistrust in life. From the second I stepped foot in Arkana, I was treated with patience, calmness, kindness and love. Everything about the place is perfect. The environment, the facilitators and staff, the shamans, the cooks, Jose (the owner) and the cleaning staff. Basically, anyone who helps run Arkana has my 10+ star review. They all really are earth angels. Throughout my journey, I started feeling very doubtful about the whole experience when I had a few rough ceremonies. No matter how many doubts came up, the facilitators still sat with me patiently through all my emotions with so much warmth and kindness for what I was going through. Everyone who works at Arkana is the true embodiment of self-service. Once I completed my second week, everything started to make sense and fall into place. I feel transformed in many ways and have Arkana to thank. I could not recommend Arkana more; if you're thinking about it, take this as the sign to commit. Also, 100% take the Bufo. It changed my life. Thank you, and good luck on your journey xx

Just choose this retreat. You needn’t look any further. The entire team at Arkana and the entire experience is just incredible. They go above and beyond to make sure that the entire week runs smoothly and to make sure that all of their retreat participants are comfortable. I can’t thank them enough for such a wonderful week, from the cleaners to the cooks to the organizers to the facilitators to the shamans and to all of the friends I made while I was there – thank you so much! They set a schedule at the start of the week and they stick to it. Everything is optional depending on how you are feeling, it’s all up to you. The food is amazing all week, the cooks are constantly working to prepare the next meal for the group, with vegan options always available. I chose to attend the Sacred Valley location and loved the mountain scenery along with the dry weather and the rooms were also nice. The day trip to the salt flats was also a nice treat and a pleasant change of pace from the ceremonies. All of the little things that the Arkana team does really puts the icing on the cake – after ceremonies they bring you fruit and tea, the cleaning team sneaks a hot pad into your bed for post-ceremony relaxation, and if you’re lucky the cats will come and sleep with you for the night. You can tell the Arkana team has a ton of experience running this retreat and it really shows – nothing was out of place and all of the workers there were the perfect people for the job. The organizers were inspiring to say the least and the shamans blew me away with their songs. This is as much a cultural experience as it is a ceremonial/medicinal one. I was stunned by the Shipibo music and art and I guarantee you will be too, there’s nothing else like it and it absolutely needs to be felt in person. I am still processing my ayahuasca and sapo experiences but the first word of interpretation that comes to mind is: beautiful. Huge thanks and many hugs to the Arkana team!
